JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed-use development has begun construction on Village on the Avenue, a $23 million mixed-use apartment community that includes retail in Lakeland, Fla.

Village on the Avenue is being developed by Village Partners of Davenport, Fla. and designed by James S. Carr, A.I.A. & Associates, LLC of Malvern, Penn. Located at 6720 South Florida Ave. in Lakeland, Fla., the 12-acre, gated community is scheduled for completion in May 2017.

“LandSouth Construction has been building exceptional multifamily communities and mixed-use projects for 18 years, and we are thrilled to announce the ground breaking for Village on the Avenue, which will demonstrate the workmanship, quality and value that our experienced team has become known for,” said James Pyle, LandSouth CEO/President.

LandSouth Commences Work on $24 Million Daytona Beach Apartments

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed use development has broken ground on Integra Sands, a $24 million luxury apartment community in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Integra Land Company of Lake Mary, Fla. is developing the 358,480 square foot project. Charlan, Brock and Associates of Maitland, Fla. is designing Integra Sands. Completion is scheduled for April 2017.

“The Diamond Award is voted on by the employees based on which team members best represented the company’s core values during the calendar year,” noted LandSouth President and CEO James Pyle.

Vergnolle was recently promoted to vice president of operations He joined LandSouth as a project manager in 2014. Vergnolle has over 20 years of construction experience with the completion of over 6,000 multi-family units. He has been directly involved in all facets of multi-family construction over the years from groundwork to owner relationships.

Vergnolle supports the project management team to ensure each project is meeting their goal. He also manages the company’s client relationships. He is a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida and earned a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel.

As an assistant field superintendent, Edenfield’s daily responsibilities include organizing and supervising an effective field office, reviewing construction progress and updating the construction schedule in real time, tracking and managing critical materials stored on site, managing field resources, and constantly communicating with subcontractors.

He ensures that the project is built according to plans, specifications, regional and state codes, and to LandSouth and owner quality standards. Edenfield has a Bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida, M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction. He joined LandSouth as a project estimator in 2013.

Ondish comes to LandSouth with 14 years of solid construction experience with an emphasis on managing multifamily developments, commercial build outs and hotel renovations. He most recently was an owner representative with LendLease renovating hotels in the southeast.

Ondish has extensive experience managing and completing complex, multi-phased projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, local building officials, vendors and owners while maintaining costs and deadlines.

He is proficient in document presentation, material purchasing, and critical path project scheduling, project estimating projects, safety and compliance.

Ondish will coordinate with clients and the LandSouth team from project initiation through completion. In his role, he will manage, develop, maintain and oversee all functions of assigned projects at the preconstruction, construction and post-construction phases. Those functions include but are not limited to safety, construction planning and cost control procedures.

Thurman combines his 10 years of experience in contracting and consulting with construction management, cost estimating, planning, project controls, financial reporting and accountabilities.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed-use development has commenced construction on Integra Lakes at Concord Village, a $19,375,00 luxury apartment community in Casselberry, Fla.

Integra Lakes at Concord Village is situated on 7.5 acres and is being developed by Integra Land Company of Lake Mary, Fla. The architect of the 203-unit, 284,628 square foot project is Associated Consulting International of Winter Park, Fla.

“Great care is going into building a community that will seamlessly fit into Casselberry’s established surroundings,” said LandSouth CEO and President James Pyle. “Integra Lakes’ full array of amenities and open floor plans designed with quality finishes are consistent with high-end rental communities the developer has become known for.”

Prominently located in downtown Casselberry at 88 Triplett Lake Dr., Concord Village is a new and innovative mixed use project consisting of Integra Lakes, restaurants, office and retail tenants. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed-use development will soon begin construction on Integra Junction, a $28 million apartment community in Odessa, Fla. just 30 miles from Tampa.

Integra Junction is being developed by Integra Land Development of Lake Mary, Fla. Charlan Brock and Associates of Maitland, Fla. is the architect. Completion is scheduled for March 2017.
