LandSouth Construction Starts Two New Projects

Apartment Community in Tennessee; Senior Living Residences in Florida

LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based general contractor specializing in multifamily developments, announced today that it has begun construction on two new projects, Integra Preserve in Collegedale, Tenn. and American House in Bonita Springs, Fla.

"We are delighted to begin 2014 with these exceptional projects," said James Pyle, president and CEO of LandSouth Construction, which also is currently completing several multifamily projects throughout the Southeast. "We are pleased to have been selected to build Integra Preserve and American House as they show the depth and width of our experience and capabilities.”

Integra Preserve is a gated, garden-style apartment community near Chattanooga, Tenn. consisting of 220 residences in six apartment buildings and four carriage homes. Panther Chattanooga/Preserves LLC is the developer and Charlan Brock & Associates, Inc. is the architect of the $18,559,252 project.

Sitting on 14 beautiful acres Integra Preserve will feature one, two and three bedroom apartments ranging from 766 to 1,278 square feet of living space. The apartment homes will have 42-inch cabinets, ceramic tile, French doors, garden tubs and a washer and dryer.

A 4,800 square foot clubhouse and leasing center will compliment a cabana pool pavilion, fitness center, outdoor grill area. Integra Preserve is being built to National Green Building Standards and is expected to be completed in May, 2015.

Nestled on 25 acres in Bonita Springs, Fla., American House is a three phase senior living campus including independent and assisted living with full kitchens as well as a fifty unit memory care building.  The project consists of 60 one bedroom, 25 studio, and five two bedroom units in Phase 1, and 40 one bedroom memory care residences in the second phase.

The site is located adjacent to the Imperial River in Old Bonita Springs. Amenities include full restaurant service, resident activity rooms, aerobic swimming pool, lake walking path, fountains, gardens and exterior patios and verandas.

AH Bonita Springs LLC is the developer and Progressive Associates is the architect of phase one and two of the $13,684,377 project that is due for completion in May, 2015.

Congratulations to our co-award winners for the 2013 Diamond Award, Joy Jones and Brooklynn Roshitsh.  Joy has been with LandSouth for 9 years and handles all aspects of accounts payable as well as serving as a project administrator.  Brooklynn is new to LandSouth but has grasped and implemented LandSouth's core values quickly into her daily interactions as field administrator.  The Diamond Award is voted on by the employees of LandSouth Construction based on whom has best represented the core values, "WHILDAP", for the calendar year.

LandSouth Construction selects Southern Development and Construction as the ‘Subcontractor of the Quarter’

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –  LandSouth Construction has announced Southern Development and Construction (SDC) as “Subcontractor of the Quarter.”

LandSouth Construction has completed construction of Integra Hills Luxury Apartments, a $19 million project near Chattanooga, Tenn.

Greg Wikan Named Project Manager at LandSouth Construction

LandSouth Construction, has announced that Greg Wikan has joined the company as a Project Manager. “Greg brings a great depth of experience to his new role. His leadership and knowledge of construction management will assist in our company’s growth through securing and completing projects to budget, scope and schedule,” said LandSouth President/CEO James Pyle.

Wikan has 13 years of experience. He comes to LandSouth from First Florida where he was a Project Manager and lead Estimator. Wikan graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction.

LandSouth building $30 million apartments near Orlando

LandSouth Construction, LLC of Jacksonville Beach has announced the construction of Park Place Apartments and Oviedo on the Park, a $30 million development in Oviedo, Florida. The community will be nestled on 10 acres with 275 residences, four buildings, a multipurpose clubhouse, abundant amenities and part of Oviedo on the Park.  Construction commenced this week and scheduled for completion in the summer of 2014.

LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, Florida based general contractor specializing in multifamily housing, has announced it has begun construction on Lost Lake Resort Apartments, a $21 million community at the southwest corner of J.Turner Butler Boulevard and Southside Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida.

The development will be nestled on 18 acres with 280 residences, 19 buildings, a resort-style clubhouse and abundant amenities. Construction commenced this week and scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2013.
