LandSouth to bring 140 retirement homes to Nocatee

PONTE VEDRA, Fla. (November 17, 2017) – LandSouth Construction, an award–winning Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor specializing in senior housing, multifamily and mixed–use development, has begun construction on Starling at Nocatee Independent Living, a senior living community in Nocatee.

The community is being designed by Rosemann & Associates of Kansas City, MO. Since 1987, the firm has focused on designing the backdrop for life by actively studying how people live in built environments. Completion is scheduled for Feb. 2019.

Additional amenities on the 6.5 acres will include a resort style pool with cabanas, outdoor fire pit, dog park, and resident gardening area. Residents will have exclusive access to a private putting green, yoga lawn, walking trails, bocce ball and pickle ball courts and meticulously landscaped courtyards.
