Developer Flournoy Partners of Columbus, Ga. chose architects Geheber Lewis Associates, L.L.C. of Atlanta for the design of the 423,881 square foot project that will feature 330 apartment homes in five buildings with elevators.
The experienced LandSouth team working on Essex at Universal is led by project manager Jason Fansler, field superintendent John Horency and project administrator Leah Broadway. The community is expected to be completed by July 2020.

Essex at Universal will feature 11 spacious floor plans from one bedroom, one bath to three bedrooms, two baths ranging from 622 to 1324 square feet. The average sf is 998sf. Homes will feature granite counter tops, stainless appliances, some residences have French door refrigerators and jetted garden tubs. Resort style amenities include pool, fitness center and pet park along with an 8,000 square foot clubhouse.
Essex at Universal sits on 11 acres at 9369 Universal Blvd., north of the Las Palmeras by Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare hotel and close to the Orange County Convention Center, area attractions including Universal Studios and Top Golf but also close to new employment centers.
