Corey Drake brings nine years of experience across construction, manufacturing, and consulting to his role as Safety Manager at LandSouth Construction. In that role, he is responsible for developing and sustaining a safety program built on continuous improvement — one that goes beyond compliance to create a genuine culture of safety for every person involved in the construction process. As a Safety Manager, he performs site inspections, training, protocol development, and hands-on engagement with field teams and subcontractors to ensure safety standards are not just met but owned.
Corey believes that culture is built from the top down. His leadership approach centers on collaboration, open communication, and fostering the kind of teamwork that keeps people aligned and working safely toward a shared goal.
Corey earned his degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University and holds the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) accreditation. He was recognized as a Jacksonville Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, an award that highlights emerging leaders making a meaningful impact in their field and community.
